Title: Business Development Engineer
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly
motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Business
Development Engineer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in
the acquisition of new projects by efficiently managing the entire
Telecommunication Customer Huawei, Zain, Ooredoo, STC, and IHS.
Responsibilities:
Tender
Management:
·
Research and identify potential tenders and business
opportunities in engineering domains such as the Civil, TE, IBS, Solution,
Sales, new verticals and related sectors.
·
Gather and compile all necessary documents for tender
submissions, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.
·
Prepare and submit tender applications, taking
responsibility for accuracy and completeness.
·
Coordinate and follow up on tender progress,
addressing any queries or additional information requests promptly.
·
Maintain an organized database of tender documents,
submissions, and outcomes.
Partnerships:
·
On-board New Technologies and Exclusive Partners in
Wajda Portfolio to ensure good business out of it.
Registrations:
·
Make sure to keep Neomtech and Wajda Group
Registration updated for all the ministries and Telecom Clients and the
registrations for new clients.
Logistics:
·
Ensure successful deliveries for the Projects from
Supplier to client and follow up on every stage with suppliers and the client
to ensure timely delivery
·
Keep close follow-up with Shipping Companies and
clearance agents for successful delivery
·
Ensure approvals from the authorities for the
respective materials
·
Get Approval certificates such as Kukas etc.
Pre-Qualification:
·
Evaluate and pre-qualify companies based on
established criteria and standards.
·
Conduct thorough assessments of potential partners and
subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
·
Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure
pre-qualification standards align with project needs.
Business
Development:
·
Actively engage in business development activities,
including attending industry events, networking, and establishing relationships
with potential clients.
·
Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments,
and competitor activities.
·
Collaborate with the teams to develop strategies for
attracting and securing new projects.
CRM
Management:
·
Continuously update and maintain the Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate and relevant information.
·
Ensure that all interactions with clients, potential
partners, and stakeholders are documented in the CRM.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or
Electrical Preferred)
·
Proven experience in tender management
pre-qualification processes, and business development within the Kuwait market.
·
Strong organizational and project management skills.
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with
the ability to build and maintain relationships.
·
Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
